Today, we hosted our delightful Spring Treasure Traders event! Residents showcased and sold a wonderful collection of new, gently used and vintage treasures, along with beautiful handmade jewelry crafted with love. Guests enjoyed delicious pizza and a fresh assortment of salads while browsing and supporting our talented community. It was a heartwarming gathering filled with friends, family and plenty of smiles!

We hosted a lively Spirits & Salsa Soirée for the gentlemen of The Palace Suites! Our Dining Room Manager, Moises Gutierrez, crafted delicious cocktails, served premium spirits, and even treated the Gentlemen’s Club to festive shots. Guests enjoyed flavorful appetizers, including coconut shrimp and crab cakes, while two beautiful salsa dancers brought rhythm and excitement to the room. The afternoon was filled with smiles, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

An evening of Spanish flavors brought residents, family, and friends together for a beautifully curated culinary experience. Chef Richart Hartman presented a thoughtfully crafted menu—from frisée salad with fig and balsamic pearls to refined small plates and a tender short rib with cherry port glaze—each course perfectly paired with Spanish wines. Live piano music by Francisco Paz set the tone, creating an atmosphere that felt both elegant and inviting. The night concluded with a traditional Spanish flan, rounding out a memorable evening of dining, music, and connection.

Our Easter in Bloom celebration was truly unforgettable! The community was beautifully transformed with vibrant tulips, roses, and hydrangeas, along with Easter bunnies and colorful eggs, creating the perfect springtime setting. Residents welcomed family and friends for a joyful afternoon filled with live music by the Barbara Evans Trio, delicious cuisine thoughtfully crafted by Chef Richard Hartman, and a stunning dessert station featuring a beautifully decorated cake. Our youngest guests enjoyed balloon twisting, face painting, and special Easter baskets, adding even more smiles to the day.

Yesterday, residents and guests were treated to a sensational Flamenco performance starring Anabel López and her talented musician and dancer. The energy, rhythm and passion of the show captivated everyone in attendance. Guests also enjoyed refreshing traditional sangria and classic Spanish-style flan, adding the perfect culinary touch to an unforgettable evening. The music and dancing truly thrilled all who attended!

The Palace Suites Food & Wine Festival was nothing short of spectacular! Set on the patio, the afternoon featured five incredible wine stations, each perfectly paired with delicious appetizers that delighted every palate.

The music by Rhythm & Emotion brought an energetic and entertaining vibe, creating the perfect backdrop for the night. The atmosphere was refreshing, calm, and effortlessly flowing.

It was a beautiful gathering filled with great flavors, great music, and even better company!

Our most recent Chef’s Table, Colonial Table 1776 Reimagined, was a warm and memorable evening shared on the patio with residents, family, and friends—beautifully paired with wines. Guests enjoyed a thoughtfully curated journey beginning with an apple–walnut harvest salad, followed by Maryland blue crab cakes, butter-poached lobster rolls, cider-brined roast chicken with heirloom succotash, herb-crusted rack of lamb with creamy mashed potatoes, and a comforting Dutch apple tart to finish. It was a truly special night celebrating connection, tradition, and the joy of gathering together.

We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in true festive spirit with a lively Happy Hour filled with music, energy, and Irish charm. Residents enjoyed the sounds of live music while being captivated by vibrant river dancers, creating an atmosphere full of excitement and tradition. Delicious Irish-inspired appetizers were served alongside refreshing Irish beer, adding the perfect touch to the celebration.

Family and friends also joined in the festivities, making the afternoon even more special as laughter, connection, and community filled the room. It was a memorable celebration full of joy, culture, and togetherness. Sláinte!
