Yesterday was a beautiful and unforgettable day as we celebrated the graduation of our incredible medical residents from the FIU/West Kendall Baptist Family Medicine Program. Teaching pediatrics to these bright, compassionate future physicians has been one of the greatest joys of my career.

I’m deeply honored to have received the Healing Heart Patient Advocacy Award, presented by the residents themselves. To be recognized for dedication, advocacy, and compassion in patient care means the world to me.

Thank you to my residents—past and present—for inspiring me every day. 💙
