Today is World Mental Health Day.
At CEATT, we believe that healing should not depend on your zip code, income, or insurance coverage.

Trauma doesn’t discriminate — and neither should treatment.
That’s why we’re committed to making high-quality, culturally competent mental health care accessible and equitable for all.

This day is more than awareness —
it’s a call to action: Protect the mental health of the underserved.
Invest in trauma recovery.
Center survivors’ voices.

💚 To every individual impacted by trauma — your healing matters.
And we are here to walk with you.

Legacy Planning is Trauma-Informed Care

At CEATT, we believe that preventing trauma includes helping families prepare for the future. Too often, grief is made heavier by confusion, legal stress, and unanswered questions. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

That’s why we’re proud to sponsor Week 1 of the Legacy & Estate Planning Series, featuring attorney Marie Elianor—a trusted expert in estate, probate, and guardianship law.

👩🏽‍⚖️ She’ll cover:
✅ Wills, trusts & guardianship — explained simply
✅ Reducing family tension and trauma with wise planning
✅ How legal clarity supports emotional peace

This is more than a legal conversation—it’s a mental health strategy, a family healing opportunity, and a step toward generational stability. ✨

Last week one of our CEATT Champion Presenters Sophia Loubeau-Griggs, LCSW-QS delivered the dynamic session “Navigating Workplace Conflict” for the team at Everlast Productions.

Sophia introduced trauma-informed, evidence-based strategies to help team members better understand their conflict styles, regulate emotions, and approach disagreements with clarity and compassion.

📌Top Takeaways:
1️⃣ Understanding your conflict style helps preserve trust and reduce reactive behaviors.
2️⃣ Psychological safety is the foundation of effective conflict resolution and long-term team wellness.

When organizations embed trauma-informed care into their workplace culture, they don’t just avoid conflict—they create space for creativity, collaboration, and sustainable success.

Huge thanks to for prioritizing staff wellbeing and building a culture where people feel safe, seen, and supported.

Natural disaster trauma is more than the event itself—it’s the invisible weight that lingers after the waters recede.

What is Natural Disaster Trauma?
It’s the lasting emotional and psychological distress caused by disasters like floods, hurricanes, and fires.

Symptoms may include:
• Hypervigilance or anxiety
• Trouble sleeping
• Guilt (especially for first responders or survivors)
• Difficulty concentrating or feeling “normal” again

At CEATT, we provide trauma-informed care and therapy for individuals and families coping with the aftermath of crisis.

Whether you lived through one—or helped someone else survive it—your experience matters, and your healing matters.

CEATT Clinician Yeumica Ferguson represented our team at the Returning Citizens event. The event shifted beautifully into an information-sharing space.

Attendees received valuable mental health resources, and guest speaker Melissa led a calming relaxation technique that offered a moment of grounding and peace.

Even when the room is small, the work is still big. We’re grateful for every opportunity to meet people with care, information, and healing.
