The healthcare industry is creating jobs in Miami-Dade. Combined with the private education industry, healthcare added 13,600 jobs since August 2007, according to federal labor statistics. About three-fourths of that came from hospitals, health clinics and doctor offices.

Construction leads the list of Miami-Dade’s job losers, while healthcare is way ahead of the hiring pack during the last four years.
