April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month 💙

At TRC Healing, we want to take a moment to recognize the importance of this time. It’s an opportunity to raise awareness, support survivors, and continue building spaces where everyone feels safe, respected, and heard.

Creating a culture of respect and accountability starts with each of us through our words, our actions, and how we show up for others.

If you or someone you know needs support or resources, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You are not alone, and help is available.

Together, we can continue fostering a community rooted in safety, compassion, and understanding.

We often associate “luck” with external outcomes opportunities, timing, or circumstances beyond our control.

But in clinical work, we see a different reality.

What many describe as “feeling lucky” is often the result of something far more intentional:
the courage to engage in healing, the willingness to confront difficult experiences, and the commitment to personal growth.

Healing requires effort, consistency, and support. It involves unlearning survival patterns, developing emotional awareness, and creating space for regulation and self-compassion.

Emotional freedom is not случай. It is built.

This St. Patrick’s Day offers a meaningful reminder: a fresh start is not something we wait for it is something we actively create through the work we are willing to do.

At Trauma Resolution Center, we believe that true transformation comes from within, and that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience peace, clarity, and lasting healing.

What does a “fresh start” look like for you?

At the Media Department of Trauma Resolution Center, we believe that communication is part of the healing process.

Our role is to raise awareness about trauma, reduce stigma around mental health, and provide clear, responsible, and trauma-informed messaging to the communities we serve. Through educational content, professional resources, and strategic communication, we aim to amplify conversations that foster understanding, resilience, and recovery.

Media has the power to shape narratives and we are committed to ensuring those narratives promote hope, accuracy, and compassion.

Together, we can create informed communities and support meaningful healing.

✨ Join us in raising awareness ✨

At TRC Healing, we believe in the power of education, healing, and community. We invite you to attend an upcoming Human Trafficking Awareness event hosted by our community partners.

💔 Human trafficking affects millions of people worldwide and often goes unnoticed. It involves the exploitation of individuals through force, fraud, or coercion for purposes like labor or s*x trafficking.

💡 This event will help you:
• Recognize warning signs
• Learn how to protect yourself and others
• Discover resources for those impacted

🤝 Awareness is the first step toward change. Together, we can make a difference.

We hope to see you there 💙

Autism is not a limitation it’s a different way of experiencing and understanding the world. Each individual brings a unique perspective, rich in insight, creativity, and depth. When we embrace neurodiversity, we create space for compassion, connection, and true inclusion. Our differences are not barriers they are powerful strengths that make our communities more resilient, empathetic, and whole. Diversity is not something to fix it is something to celebrate. 🌈💙🧩

What often makes domestic violence so difficult to address is that many survivors are navigating harm while trying to maintain normalcy in everyday life. They may still be parenting, working, leading, and showing up while living in fear or uncertainty. A trauma-informed response asks us to look beyond visible injury and understand how control, intimidation, and chronic fear shape a person’s body, mind, and choices. Awareness, safety, and compassionate accountability matter deeply.

Therapy doesn’t always look the way we expect… sometimes it has four legs and a wagging tail 🐾

Therapy dogs can bring comfort, reduce anxiety, and help create a sense of safety during difficult moments.

Their presence can make it easier to open up, feel grounded, and experience connection without judgment.

For many people, healing begins with feeling safe and supported and sometimes, a gentle companion can make all the difference.

At Trauma Resolution Center, we believe in creating spaces where healing feels accessible, compassionate, and human.

Trauma Resolution Center

The mission of the TRC is to build human resiliency by facilitating the resolution of traumatic events and teaching tools to relieve stress. The main services of the agency include client-centered, individual trauma-specific facilitation, and psycho-educational groups. Our holistic services include Eastern practices such as breathwork, yoga, and meditation. We also provide acupuncture, massage, and advocacy as funding permits. We are considered experts in trauma and domestic violence and provide court evaluations and expert testimony for refugees and victims of violence. Community Resiliency programming includes training trainers in the community on simple, but powerful stress relief techniques. We provide training in our agency model to other agencies, healers, and mental health professionals. In supportive housing and residential settings for youth, we provide trauma-informed psychosocial rehabilitation.

Funding Partners: Miami-Dade County, AIJ-CT, and The Miami Foundation.
