The gift That make me the happiest is a bouquet of different greens especially when I put them together. I have here lettuce, dandelion,spinach, beets, collard greens❤️🇭🇹🙏I am about to make a juice of celery, beets and dandelion.

Someone asked me how to cook brown rice soft. I said I knew two ways. One was with a pressure cooker and the other way was by sprouting it.

But I've seen a third way, and it's probably the easiest. I've tried it a few times and it works very well. You don't need a pressure cooker, soaking rice or sprouting either.

First, rinse a cup of brown rice. Put that in a pot with 1 1/2 cup of water (no soaking required). Cook it for 15 -20 min. with a lid on. Adjust the heat so that you don't burn it.

Second, add a cup of cold water (more water if you want the rice softer). The shock of added cold water breaks the skin of the rice allowing more water to be absorbed. Keep cooking it for another 10 to 15 min. with the lid on Stop the heat, and leave it steaming for another 5 min. or so. Done!

It's very easy and it tastes great.
