šŸ“£ 5 things you should do immediately to protect yourself from pesticide exposure, particularly if Section 453 of the 2026 Appropriation Bill passes:

*šŸ’§Filter your water

*šŸ„‘ Buy organic (there’s a 5 digit number on šŸŽ beginning with a 9), but if finances are tough, buy conventional produce with thick skin šŸŒ

*šŸ›’ Support local, buy a CSA, or grow your own

*🧼 WASH your produce well- give it a good rub. Several studies show that ionized water with a 12.5 PH helps eliminate pesticide residue, or wash with a bit of baking soda as most pesticides are oil-based

*šŸ“£ TALK about pesticides with friends, be an informed consumer. I know first hand how pesticides affect your health.

ā“Ever wondered why your ab exercises aren’t working, or you don’t see results ? It’s probably because your major muscles are talking over.

āŒ Let me highlight common mistakes made while attempting to engage the core.

šŸŽ„ Lookint back at the footage for my upcoming online program about the four fundamentals: breath , core engagement , posture and gait, I realized how many corrections there are to make when focusing on ab engagement:

🦵For example, instead of using her abs to lift her leg, she uses her back, making her ankle go higher than her hip.

🐤 Her head is dropped before moving, which means her sternum and ribcage are slightly tilted, causing her neck to sag, causing your abs to engage less.

šŸ‘‹ As she ext new her hand, notice it is higher than her shoulder, which tells me she is using her shoulder to lift her arm, and not her core. This also prompts her to lift her head unnecessarily.

What may seem like simple mistakes, these movements give clues to which muscles help you move, and if continued in this way, she will never improve her ab engagement.

Are your workplace meals fueling performance or draining it?

Many companies invest heavily in wellness programs but overlook a core driver of employee health: the food available at work.

Intermittent fasting was in my OUT's for wellness trends, but it can be beneficial to some. šŸ‘‚ Hear me out.

Going too long before eating because you think it might help you lose weight raises cortisol levels for most women (particularly over 40). As a woman, when our body is hungry the sympathetic nervous system fires, which can cause unnecessary inflammation when fasting normally reduces inflammation. Same as ice baths.

And to be honest, I guess I have been intermittently fasting for most of my life: we ate at 6pm and didn't have breakfast until 8am the next day (that's already 13 hours). So I always recommend to my clients to eat before 8pm as your metabolism slows down in the evening.
However, a water fast over 24 hours is great for everyone, particularly for cellular regeneration. I recommend doing it once a month for at least 24-48 hours.

Listen to your body.

If you are hungry, eat.

If you are tired, sleep.

If you are planning to fast, make sure, then night before bed, you have had some carbohydrates (will help you sleep). And wake up ready to hydrate.

Most of us are eating too much, but some of us are not eating enough. The theory calories in calories out no longer holds true, since chemical exposure affects our metabolism and how we store fat on the body.
