Mental health disorders are common, affecting 1 in 5 adults at any point in their lives.
The point of writing this post is to show you that you are not alone.
Recognize & accept your feelings.
Pay attention to how you talk to yourself.
Be gentle with yourself.
Take care of your body.
Nourish yourself.
Limit your social media use, especially if it triggers you.
Surround yourself with good people, loved ones and support systems.
Cut out toxic relationships.
Don't think you're the only one going through this, because you're not.
If you’re struggling with your mental health, please know that it is totally normal—and nothing to feel ashamed or embarrassed about. It’s never too late to ask for help. People who suffer from depression and anxiety often feel isolated, but you don’t have to be alone! 🧠
