These frozen pomegranate mocktails are a refreshing, festive alcohol-free drink for Dry January or Sober October.

Easy to make and perfect for any celebration. Ignore the cranberry garnish. I used pomegranate juice (just didn't have any arils handy😉)

Diabetes and mental health are closely connected. Living with diabetes can affect your emotional well-being, and your mental health can, in turn, influence how you manage diabetes. It’s important to pay attention to both.

In this post, we’re diving into the connection between diabetes and mental well-being, why it matters, and how addressing both sides of the equation—physical and emotional—can lead to better overall health.

It was 2016… ✨

Second year working at a diabetes center—learned so much, worked incredibly hard, and grew both professionally and personally.

Started dabbling in food photography (definitely rough around the edges) and made my very first cheeseboard—everyone starts somewhere.

Started training for a full marathon 🏃‍♀️ Including runs through Italy (yes, I have the maps to prove it).

Time with my nephews—teaching them the proper way to eat loquats and wondering how they were ever that small.

Celebrated the big 40 with a trip to Italy —memories for a lifetime (& had a thing for jumping pics).

Baked myself a Milk Bar cake, because milestones deserve cake.

Surrounded myself with really good friends (pictured…and many more not pictured).

That food photography dabbling and when Instagram posts were actually seen!

& last but not least, adventures with my biggest supporter 💛

Grateful for where I’ve been, grounded in where I am, and hopeful for all that 2026 will bring 🤍
