Step into a rare and deeply immersive learning experience with Srivatsa Ramaswami, one of the last direct disciples of T. Krishnamacharya. With decades of dedicated study and teaching, he continues to carry forward an authentic and profound yoga tradition.
This workshop offers a comprehensive exploration of Vinyasakrama Yoga—a methodical and breath-centered system where each movement (vinyasa) is thoughtfully linked to the next. Developed through years of study under his revered teacher, Ramaswami presents a structured approach that includes 10 major sequences, expanded into over 150 asana variations and nearly 700 vinyasas.
Over the course of this 60-hour in-person training, participants will be guided through all ten sequences in their proper order (krama), gaining both practical experience and deeper understanding. The program also integrates a wide range of pranayama techniques and introduces the foundations of dharana (meditative focus).
An additional 40 hours will be devoted to the study of classical yoga philosophy through key Sanskrit texts, including the Samkhya Karika by Isvarakrishna and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali by Patanjali, offering a well-rounded integration of practice and theory.
