Kristen H., from Washington Metro, on Yelp: “I went in today for acne and saw Dr. Cray. I was in a super huge rush because I hadn't seen my derma in 1 year since I was too busy to get an appointment at home when I was on break and didn't have time to find a new one locally. In short, I'd waited so long that my face looked like it was covered in miniature replicas of Mt Rushmore, so by the time I decided to try this place, the situation had become urgent. I put in an request late Friday night and someone emailed me Saturday to let me know they'd be calling on Monday to arrange an appointment. As promised, they called Monday and were actually able to get me in for later that week! I was seen very quickly following arrival, which has been a real rarity in my past experience with dermatologists. I probably only waited 10 minutes after doing my paperwork, maybe even less. The nurse was friendly and made sure that she understood everything I was hoping to cover in my exam. She actually caught a product that had something I was allergic to in it, which was a huge life saver! Dr. Cray was very thorough! She did a whole head to toe skin exam, which was reassuring. My other dermatologists only check my chest, back, and face, and I always forget if I have other concerns because I feel so rushed. What's more, I told the doctor that the only stubborn acne I had was on my chest and she offered me a new med, which no one else has offered me before. She also gave me lots of great samples and suggestions for minimizing acne in my problem area. I never felt rushed at all. When I remembered other questions I had, she did not try to rush off, she patiently addressed them in full and made sure that all of my concerns were addressed before she left. She even explained laser hair removal to me, since I expressed interest, and went into how many sessions it would likely take and why. She also explained that I'd need a different type of laser for my skin tone and she went into why that was the case. She was great at explaining everything in an easy to understand way. When it came down to payment, I was a bit confused because apparently my insurance copay terms had changed. One of the front desk ladies was very helpful in explaining everything to me and was very understanding. After her explanation, I was able to better understand how the new terms of my insurance functioned. The huge downside for me is the location. I absolutely hate going to dermatologist's offices in hospitals. Parking is a hassle (and in this case, it's also $3), finding the buildings for the first time is also very difficult, and if you leave something in the car, the walk is really long. In this heat, these things make a big difference and can really cause considerable annoyance. Overall, great experience and I wish I weren't moving because I'd definitely see her again. Thanks, yelpers, for another great find! I would've never found it without you!”
Jacky G., from Miami, FL, on Yelp: “Great experience! I've been searching for a great dermatologist for a while now and I am so grateful that I found Dr. Bowes Office. Dr. Kimberly Cray is the one who saw me and she is young and beautiful, model-like and the kind of woman that a little girl wants to grow up to be- well if I would've been younger and would have seen this Dr I would have wanted to be a dermatologist as well. Aside from being lovely she was very sweet and listened to everything I said, answered my questions and prescribed me great medications that her and the assistant tried to get me for the cheapest price. I highly recommend her!”
Ana B, from Miami, FL, on Yelp: “I went in to see Dr. Kimberly Cray for a skin problem that I have which is very rare. I have been talking do doctors for the last 3 years about my skin condition and no one has a clue of how to treat it with success. Finally I found my new Dermo.. She knew a lot about my skin problem and offered to treat me with different meds than the ones that were prescribed to me in the past by other doctors. I was thrilled that I finally found someone who was knowledgeable about my skin condition. Not only was the staff nice but very comforting. She listens to you and how you feel, she takes her time, and she is very comforting. She is amazing and with the meds she prescribed me I have seen a difference. She even referred me to a plastic surgeon that could further help me with my skin condition. HANDS DOWN I RECOMMEND DR. CRAY TO ANYONE!”
