Important conversations took place around generational wealth, economic justice, and the future of financial empowerment in the Black community.

Mr. Bell had the opportunity to be part of “Forging Our Own Path: Generational Wealth, Strategy, & the Black Pursuit for Economic Justice,” a powerful panel that brought together leaders and advocates to explore both the challenges and the possibilities ahead.

The discussion looked closely at systemic barriers that have shaped financial outcomes over time, while also highlighting real, practical ways individuals and families can build long-term stability. Conversations touched on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, policy, and the growing influence of digital tools in creating new opportunities for wealth.

There was also a meaningful focus on the opportunities within Miami and how collaboration can help create lasting impact across the community.

When someone is experiencing homelessness, the need for safety and support is immediate.

At Riverside House, our Emergency Shelter Program provides temporary housing, daily meals, case management, and access to essential services, meeting people where they are and helping them begin to stabilize their lives.

Through consistent guidance and care, we support each individual as they move through crisis and work toward long-term housing and a more stable future. 💙

Through daily prayer calls, chapel services, Bible studies, pastoral counseling, and faith-based recovery groups, residents have the opportunity to grow spiritually while rebuilding their lives.

Our pastoral care team walks alongside participants with encouragement, mentorship, and guidance, helping them rediscover purpose, strengthen their faith, and move forward with hope. 🙏💙

Mission: Riverside House exists to guide men and women convicted of crime into becoming productive citizens through a non-denominational, faith-based approach.

Vision: That all individuals, whether imprisoned in mind or spirit, will lead positive and productive lives when given the opportunity to succeed. Riverside House seeks to change the lives of at-risk individuals (regardless of gender or culture) through community and residential programs that emphasize personal accountability, family relationships, and spiritual growth.

We envision a future where the formerly incarcerated are good citizens and neighbors – productive, educated, with strong family and spiritual values, playing an equal role in contributing to a safe and vibrant community.
