Treating the temples requires careful planning — especially when vascular anatomy is highly active.

In this case, our Board-Certified Aesthetic Physician and Lead Injector, Dr. Cesar Fernandez MD, identified a prominent, highly pulsatile active superficial temporal artery within the planned treatment plane using Facial Ultrasound before injecting.

Although Temple Filler is commonly performed using a cannula technique, ultrasound revealed that this patient’s vascular anatomy required an adjusted approach. Treatment was performed conservatively and under real-time ultrasound guidance to improve precision and safety in this high-risk area.
