Hear what EdgeLife Users say: As an emergency veterinarian at Advanced Veterinary Care and founder at Aquatic Veterinary Consulting Serives (https://www.aquaticvetconsulting.com/about) we typically use ultrasounds as a part of our physical exam. Taking a look at the chest, looking for free fluid, beelines, heart to evaluate any signs of congestive heart failure, atriums or even a heart-based mask, the abdomen . Any obvious masses, especially on the spleen. The wonderful thing is it’s wireless. Can quickly grab your iPad and take a look.

If you don’t have your iPad handy, grab your phone . There’s no wires that you have to worry about. It’s also waterproof in case anything spills on it. Nice thing is that it’s dualhead. Small footprint.

 Dogs  and cats. Large or small with one probe. You can look behind the eyes for Retrobulbar. It’s something that I grab every time I do a physical exam, especially, if owners are concerned or if it’s something you know is going on, you can quickly show the owners the pictures on your iPad or on your phone and say, this is the reason I’m concerned, or this is the reason we need to do more imaging.

So it’s very helpful, and an invaluable tool, that I use every day.
