This October during Physical Therapy month, we would like to highlight our very own physical therapists!

Nikole shared with us her drive in becoming a physical therapist:

👩🏻‍⚕️“Why did you choose to become a physical therapist?”

I chose to become a physical therapist to make an impact in other people’s lives. I am with my patients from the very beginning to the end, every week, not only helping them feel better, but also getting to know my patients as the unique individuals they are.

🎯“What’s your favorite part about helping people as a physical therapist?”

Seeing the face of accomplishment after my patients achieve one of their goals.

⚽️“Have you had any injuries you had to overcome?”

I subluxated my patella playing soccer in high school for which I went to physical therapy for 4 months. My physical therapist had the biggest impact on me and got me back on the field to play my senior year.
