It seems like FINALLY many outdated labels, classifications, and warnings are being removed from medications — thanks to the current administration pushing for long-overdue updates in medical regulation.
The FDA has officially removed the black box warning for cardiovascular events on testosterone, and it looks like we may soon see testosterone removed from the controlled substance classification as well.
The old fears about testosterone causing increased cardiovascular events or prostate cancer were never supported by modern evidence. In fact, the latest research shows quite the opposite. These outdated warnings have prevented so many people from receiving safe, effective, and truly life-changing treatment.
I’m glad we are finally moving the needle in medicine. I hope this continues — because the U.S. has been behind the rest of the world in many areas of hormone therapy, metabolic health, and longevity care.
Hopefully this shift opens the door for:
✔️ More flexibility in clinical research
✔️ Better studies on women (long overdue)
✔️ Less unnecessary FDA bureaucracy
✔️ More accurate, science-based labeling
This is a step in the right direction. Let’s keep going. 💙💉
