Good day to all!!
See all those hearts in the picture? They are from me to all of you!🥰

We are still waiting for the governor’s order to re-open all businesses. In the meantime, we are seeing patients with urgencies, pain, diabetic feet and patients with complaints and situations that cannot wait.
My office will continue with the social distancing practice in the lobby and reception and in all spaces possible indefinitely. We will also continue providing safe, clean and disinfected areas, including chairs, desks, doork***s, and all surfaces.

I can’t wait to see you all again!!
See you all soon ❤️

To all my patients: I will be in the office for your already scheduled appointments. We will have all the precautions in place in the office: all door k***s, all seats and counters disinfected, etcetera.
However, due to the pandemic we are experiencing with the CoVid 19, we will be happy to reschedule if you decide not to show.
We hope all of you stay calm, eat well and drink plenty of water. Take all the sanitation measures. And be well and healthy.
Hoping to see you all soon!! 💝

Happy Valentine’s & happy feet everyone!!!

Going through old records I’ve come to realize that in my 21 years plus working as a podiatrist, I must had seen over a couple of thousands of diabetic patients, and from those, from what I remember, about 5 or 6 had some amputation, partial or complete of one or two toes around the time they saw me. That’s very few. And the reason I write this is because I know more patients did not have amputations because they were seeing regularly by a podiatrist.
Actually this is the main reason health insurances pay podiatrists: to keep diabetic feet and every kind of feet HEALTHY.
I’m so happy I’m part of this. 😁❤️👣

I would like to recommend Dr. Jose Alfredo Alvarez, psychiatrist in Miami.
I know Dr. Alvarez since he was a young man working in Westcgester hospital where I did my 2 years residency program. He is hard worker, smart, friendly, serious, compassionate and caring.
No doubts, he is GOOD! 👍🏼

They don't have to bring me presents but I love when my patients show me their love ❤️😍

This is a special gift from my friends at the Vascular and Spine Institute. Got problems with your circulation? I would refer you to them not only because they're good but because I trust them.
Thanks Lucila Donaldson!!

When you exercise it is very important to know your maximum heart rate, which you get with this formula: 220 - your age
Then, if you are training, trying to lose weight or doing cardio, you are not to exceed this number. Experts recommend you stay below or at 85% of your maximum heart rate.
This is theoretical though.
Getting to 85% of your MHR is very hard and it is achieved some time after you start exercising for some time and have more stamina.
But, what I also want to recommend is to PLEASE check with your doctor BEFORE you start exercising hard, no matter your age. Please. Please. 👍🏼😋
