Dealing with knee pain? Getting it checked is easier than you think.
My visit to UHealth SoLé Mia was smooth from start to finish. Easy parking with valet available, quick check-in, and a team that made the entire experience feel seamless. Dr. Oladeji took the time to thoroughly evaluate my knee and walk me through what was going on in a way that felt clear and reassuring.
What stood out most was how efficient and reassuring the whole experience felt. No stress, no confusion, just clear answers and a plan.
Care that feels accessible, personalized, and grounded in clinical expertise.

Autism isn’t one-size-fits-all and new research is helping us understand why.
A recent study identified four distinct subtypes of Autism Spectrum Disorder, reinforcing what many families and physicians already know: every child’s experience is unique.
As we continue to learn more, these insights can lead to more personalized care, earlier diagnoses, and better support for families navigating ASD.

What does care look like beyond the hospital?
For Dr. Lisa Gwynn, it means meeting children where they are. As Medical Director of the Pediatric Mobile Clinic and School Health at UHealth, her work goes far beyond the medical campus, bringing care directly into schools, churches, and communities across Miami-Dade.
It’s not just about treating patients, it’s about showing up for them in the spaces they live, learn, and grow.

Today is National Doctors’ Day, and we’re taking a moment to recognize the physicians who show up for our community every single day.
Baileigh Daoud-Soricelli was just 10 years old when she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. For years, she struggled to manage it without the support she needed. That changed when she found Dr. Bresta Miranda at UHealth.
With the right guidance and care, Baileigh was able to take control of her health and later welcome a healthy baby boy.
It’s a reminder of the kind of impact the right physician can have not just on a diagnosis, but on someone’s life.
If a UHealth doctor has made a difference in your life, honor them by making a gift and leaving a note of appreciation: https://loom.ly/-j68Sr0

Sometimes care starts with simply noticing someone who needs support.
While rounding through the hospital, Kristen Murphy, Asst. VP of Patient Experience at UHealth, overheard someone in the hallway saying she had just received difficult news. She paused, checked in, and made sure the person had the support and space they needed in that moment.
Behind patient experience is being present when people are going through some of the hardest moments of their lives and making sure they are not facing them alone.

Not all snoring is the same.
Occasional snoring in kids can be linked to a cold or congestion and usually goes away. But loud, persistent snoring paired with restless sleep or interruptions at night could be a sign of something more serious like sleep apnea.
If you’re noticing ongoing symptoms, it may be time to have your child evaluated. Early attention can make all the difference.
