Miami Jewish Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew S. Anderson as the new Board Chair of our philanthropic arm Miami Jewish Health Foundation. Matthew currently serves as Executive Director of Mosaic Miami, where he leads one of Miami’s oldest civic institutions in its mission to build bridges, remove barriers, and strengthen belonging across the county.
Matthew’s career spans both the private sector and nonprofit leadership, with a consistent focus on designing, funding, and implementing initiatives that ensure Miami remains a beacon of opportunity for all. His civic footprint across the community is extensive and reflects more than a decade of service in education, health, arts, interfaith dialogue, philanthropy, and youth leadership. Beyond organizational leadership, Matthew has contributed to numerous civic, cultural, and philanthropic institutions through committee and advisory roles.
We are excited for Matthew’s guidance and expertise in leading Miami Jewish Health to greater philanthropic success.
