Happy Monday!! I wanted to share this message a patient wrote to me about a consult last Friday. She was someone who was never offered any humane solutions. When she would leave doctors offices she would leave with no hope of getting better. I had the pleasure of speaking with her and giving her the news that there is a solution, and not a solution that would be invasive to her body. There’s so many patience who believe that their life will always be filled with never ending pain or that they have to have the most invasive form of spine surgery in order to get better. That’s a scary world to live in. She is proof that there is hope!

My patients mean everything to me, and so did this message.

Messages like these are the reasons that I do what I do. I came across this patient online and she drove down to see me. We had a consult and I was able to hear about her story. One common thing I heard? that I hear in all patients, is that she was dismissed by every doctor she went to. I saw hope in her eyes after our conversation.

I’ve had a project I've been working on for a while, and it is finally coming to pass. As a doctor, a spine revision surgeon, I see so many patients who have been misled with false information or have no access to the truth about their condition. Lack of knowledge in patient diagnosis has led to thousands of patients being operated on unnecessarily, leading to failed operations. In this podcast, I will touch up on common misdiagnosis, illnesses, and conditions of the spine. I will also consult with other doctors on various occasions to help the audience gain a better understanding of the complicated work of the spine and other specialties.
