If you are a Florida Chiropractor, your license renewal deadline is March 31 at midnight. ⏰

Do not wait until the last minute and risk delays that could affect your ability to practice.

Make sure you:
✅ Complete your CE hours
✅ Submit your renewal
✅ Approve your background check privacy policy
✅ Download your new license (the state does NOT mail them)

We are getting many calls from doctors who waited too long…don’t let that be you.

We are seeing many chiropractors get stuck during license renewal because they are missing one important step in the MQA portal.

👉 When renewing your license, make sure you select “Choose an Activity” and approve the privacy policy for your background check before continuing.

If you skip this step, you will NOT be able to complete your renewal.

✅ Log in
✅ Select Manage My License
✅ Choose the activity dropdown
✅ Approve the privacy policy
✅ Continue your renewal

This small step is causing big delays — don’t let it slow you down!

📣 A Historic Victory for Chiropractic in Florida! 🎉

The Florida Chiropractic Society is proud to celebrate a truly historic moment for chiropractors across our state. With the passage of SB 192/HB 259 today, the Florida Legislature has officially removed the outdated $1,500 prepaid cap on chiropractic care, which limited chiropractors from collecting $1500 or more from patients or they would face a state board complaint. Today the bill successfully passed the Florida House on the final day and now moves to the Governor’s desk to be signed into law in the next few months.

This milestone is especially meaningful because this is the FIRST bill ever passed that was sponsored by the Florida Chiropractic Society. What started as a shared vision among dedicated chiropractors has now become real change. This change represents a major step forward that is pro business and eliminates discrimination for chiropractors when no other medical professions face these restrictions.

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our bill sponsors Senator Jonathan Martin and Representative Taylor Yarkosky for championing this bill to the finish despite adversity. Your efforts were exemplary.

I also want to thank our PAC Chair Dr. Rick Means and our Executive Director Aracelly Martinez for their constant trips to Tallahassee advocating for our bill and testifying in committees. You were rock stars for this effort.

I want to thank our Florida Chiropractic Society board who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this possible. Your dedication, passion, and belief in made this victory made it a reality.

And finally, we had support from a number of chiropractic groups, including the Florida Chiropractic Association who showed up consistently to our hearings to support our efforts. While we do not agree on everything in chiropractic, we appreciated these efforts immensely and look forward to future collaboration.

This moment isn’t just a legislative win for the FCS — it’s a win for all chiropractors in Florida. I so appreciate all of the support we received throughout this process from our FCS members and PAC supporters. You made a huge difference for this effort.

As the President of the FCS, I’m truly humbled to finally be on to the governor’s desk with this bill. This effort began a decade ago building relationships in Tallahassee, and continued year after year after year. Our lobbying team is truly top notch, and with the help of Christian Minor, Jonathan Kilman, Paul Lowell, and the rest of Converge Public Strategies, it is so satisfying to have gotten this huge win today for chiropractic.

It just goes to show you that hard work can pay off.
