Miami DDA The Miami Downtown Development Authority grows & strengthens the economic health of Downtown Miami.

The Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is committed to improving the quality of life for businesses, employees, residents, and visitors in downtown Miami. As an independent agency of the City of Miami, the Miami DDA supports business growth, infrastructure improvements, and services for Downtown Miami residents and stakeholders. In addition to its programs and initiatives, the Miami DDA is partnering with the City and other government entities to strengthen Downtown Miami’s position as an international center for commerce, culture, and tourism. The organization is governed by a 15-member board comprised of three public appointees and 12 downtown property owners, residents and/or workers. This is a unique opportunity to help advance Downtown Miami as the most livable urban community in South Florida.

Three vacancies are currently available for the following positions:
- Arts & Entertainment District Resident

Spreading holiday joy at Southside Preparatory Academy. 🎁

We were proud to help bring a little extra magic to one of Downtown Miami’s most historic public schools, distributing more than 900 toys to students from Pre-K through 8th grade. Santa Claus joined Miami DDA Chairman Ralph “Rafael” Rosado and CEO Christina Crespi to surprise students with gifts and cheer.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration possible. Your generosity continues to brighten throughout the holiday season. We can’t wait to keep spreading cheer at our Holiday Village Toy Giveaway event tomorrow, 12/21, at 3:30 PM on Flagler Street. The event is open to the public for all Downtown Miami families.

The Miami DDA is proud to announce the winners of its 2025–2026 Downtown Creative Collaborators Grant (DCCG) program, celebrating visionary projects that will transform the District through art, culture, and community connection.

With $475,000 in grant funding, these initiatives will activate streets, parks, and gathering spaces across all three subdistricts, ensuring every corner of is alive with creativity and engagement.

Projects will take place through September 2026, turning Brickell, the Central Business District and the Arts & Entertainment District into a year-round stage for inspiration and celebration. 🌆🎨✨
