Miami DDA The Miami Downtown Development Authority grows & strengthens the economic health of Downtown Miami.

The Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is committed to improving the quality of life for businesses, employees, residents, and visitors in downtown Miami. As an independent agency of the City of Miami, the Miami DDA supports business growth, infrastructure improvements, and services for Downtown Miami residents and stakeholders. In addition to its programs and initiatives, the Miami DDA is partnering with the City and other government entities to strengthen Downtown Miami’s position as an international center for commerce, culture, and tourism. The organization is governed by a 15-member board comprised of three public appointees and 12 downtown property owners, residents and/or workers. This is a unique opportunity to help advance Downtown Miami as the most livable urban community in South Florida.

Three vacancies are currently available for the following positions:
- Arts & Entertainment District Resident
- Brickell Resident
- At-Large Resident of the District

The Miami DDA is proud to announce the winners of its 2025–2026 Downtown Creative Collaborators Grant (DCCG) program, celebrating visionary projects that will transform the District through art, culture, and community connection.

With $475,000 in grant funding, these initiatives will activate streets, parks, and gathering spaces across all three subdistricts, ensuring every corner of is alive with creativity and engagement.

Projects will take place through September 2026, turning Brickell, the Central Business District and the Arts & Entertainment District into a year-round stage for inspiration and celebration. 🌆🎨✨

The Miami DDA Holiday Village is back on Flagler Street. Bring the family on December 7, 14 & 21 from 2-6 p.m. for festive crafts, sweet treats, photo ops, and live entertainment that will fill your afternoon with cheer.

Getting here is easy! Park at any MPA garage nearby and hop on the Freebee Downtown Circulator for a quick, free ride straight to the Holiday Village.

Plus, join us in spreading holiday joy by donating to the Holiday Village Toy Drive! We’re collecting new, unwrapped toys for children up to 13 years old, through December 7 at the Flagler Street Office (166 E. Flagler St.).

Come for the fun, stay for the cheer, and help make our District merry for all!
