The thoughts and prayers of all of us at Willow Crest Hospital/Moccasin Bend Ranch go out to the families who lost loved ones due to last week's tornadoes. We are with you and we are here to help if needed. ❤️🙏

As we get closer to "tornado" season in , we encourage all of our fellow Oklahomans (and people everywhere) to be mindful of the weather, and how quickly it can change. ❤️

At least eight fatalities have been confirmed in parts of Michigan and Oklahoma as a severe weather outbreak spawned dozens of tornadoes across five states between March 5 and 6, 2026.

March is , so Willow Crest Hospital/Moccasin Bend Ranch would like to join our sister facilities; TASS Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center, Brookhaven Hospital, and Community Neurorehab, all of whom specialize in treating patients with Traumatic Brain Injuries, in raising awareness for all of the brave folks who have not let their brain injuries stop them from living! Here is a good article from the Child Mind Institute discussing the healing benefits to a child's when they spend more time outside. These benefits are a significant reason why we are so excited about our residential inpatient program, Moccasin Bend Ranch, as our patients (ages 4-12) get to be outside and in nature while they are in our care! 👍❤️
