Today may be day, but the month April being Child Abuse Prevention Month is no joke. Thank you City of Miami, Oklahoma, Miami, Oklahoma Police Department and CASA of Northeast Oklahoma for shining a light on this! 👍👏

🚔 Meet Officer Woody — and Help Us Help CASA Kids 👕

The Miami Police Department is proud to introduce our newest “officer”… Officer Woody.

He’s on a special assignment — helping us collect new clothing for children in need through CASA.

We’re asking our community to step up in a big way. CASA serves children of all ages, and we want every child to feel confident, cared for, and supported.

Here’s how you can help:
Donate NEW clothing only (with tags attached)
All sizes welcome — from little ones to teens
Drop off donations at the Miami Police Department lobby

Important:
When you arrive, please use the phone in the lobby to notify dispatch that you’re there to drop off a donation.

Officer Woody will be making appearances around town, helping us spread the word — so keep an eye out for him 👀

This is a huge story for the youth of Oklahoma and beyond. Willow Crest Hospital/Moccasin Bend Ranch has seen the dangers of social media on our child/adolescent patients first hand. Thank you KOTV - News On 6 for publishing this story! 🙏👏

A jury has found that Meta and YouTube are liable for creating products that led to harmful and addictive behavior by young users, a landmark decision that could set a legal precedent for similar allegations brought against social media companies.

The thoughts and prayers of all of us at Willow Crest Hospital/Moccasin Bend Ranch go out to the families who lost loved ones due to last week's tornadoes. We are with you and we are here to help if needed. ❤️🙏

As we get closer to "tornado" season in , we encourage all of our fellow Oklahomans (and people everywhere) to be mindful of the weather, and how quickly it can change. ❤️

At least eight fatalities have been confirmed in parts of Michigan and Oklahoma as a severe weather outbreak spawned dozens of tornadoes across five states between March 5 and 6, 2026.
