This Volunteer Appreciation Week, we’re celebrating Donna, who has been giving her heart to Nicklaus Children’s since 1981. 💛

Driven by a desire to serve her community, she found her place here, supporting families in some of their most emotional moments.
She takes pride in comforting parents during the wait for surgery and guiding them to see their children in recovery.

Over the years, she’s worn many hats, including serving on our Board of Directors, and through it all, her appreciation for our care teams and her belief in our mission have never wavered.
