If your dream NYE involves fun, family, and being home early… you’re going to love this.

Come join us for Glitter Ball Bingo on December 31st from 4–6pm! Bingo cards are 3 for $10, and all ages are welcome to play and enjoy.

We’ll wrap things up with a balloon drop at 5:50pm, the perfect early countdown to keep the night joyful, not exhausting.

Looking for a fun and festive way to celebrate New Year’s Eve without staying out late? We’ve got the perfect plan!

Join us for Glitter Ball Bingo on December 31st from 4–6pm for a family-friendly celebration where everyone is welcome! Bingo cards are 3 for $10, and you can grab as many as you’d like to boost those chances of shouting “BINGO!” before the new year arrives.

❤️ A huge SLI thank you to Paul! ❤️

Yesterday, Paul Kopanski spent his volunteer time off from GAF - Roofing with us, and wow… he did everything.

From moving fixtures to helping with building projects to working one-on-one with our students, Paul jumped in with the kind of heart and energy that makes our community shine a little brighter.

Our students loved having him here, and we’re so grateful for his time, his kindness, and his willingness to roll up his sleeves and make a difference.

🎁✨ A Huge Thank You to the Michigan City Police Department! ✨🎁

Today was pure magic! Our SLI students had the best time shopping with the amazing officers from the Michigan City Police Department for Shop With a Cop. Watching our students light up with joy, laughter, and holiday excitement was everything.

We’re so grateful for the officers who showed up with kindness, patience, and big hearts. You helped create memories our students will be talking about for weeks, possibly forever.

The Social and Learning Institute offers a unique educational experience for the intellectually disabled adult. No longer eligible to attend public school programs and seeking other options for services in La Porte County, these individuals often need continuing growth and engagement in order to live a more fully integrated life and to achieve their dreams.
