Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke often about dignity, compassion, and our responsibility to one another. His work reminds us that caring for people means seeing the whole person—not just their circumstances, but their humanity.

Mental wellness is deeply connected to that idea. When individuals are heard, supported, and treated with respect, it creates space for healing, resilience, and hope. Caring for mental health is not separate from caring for our communities—it is part of how we uphold one another’s dignity.

Here for mental wellness—today and throughout the year.

Mental wellness often grows in quiet, ordinary moments. The small choices—resting when you’re tired, pausing before reacting, reaching out instead of pulling away—can add up over time. These steps may not be dramatic, but they are meaningful.
