Looking for a meaningful way to give back? We’re inviting compassionate, community-minded individuals to join our volunteer team and make a difference in the lives of our residents right here in Middleborough.

There are so many ways to get involved—share your time, talents, and kindness in a way that fits your schedule:

✨ Assist with activities like games, crafts, and bingo
✨ Lead or help with an art class
✨ Visit residents for conversation, reading, or companionship
✨ Perform music, dance, or other talents
✨ Help with computer basics or resident outings
✨ Bring children, student groups, or even your pet for visits
✨ Join men’s groups, social clubs, or special programs
✨ Volunteer as a family or propose your own creative idea!

Today, we pause to honor the incredible Veterans who call our facility home. Each of these brave men—Ray, Leonard, Charles, David, William, Robert, Raymond, and Robert—answered the call to serve our country with courage, strength, and unwavering dedication.

Today, Shaw Home residents enjoyed a visit from Plymouth County Sheriff, Joseph D. McDonald Jr. and Public Information Officer, Edward J. O’Connell.

Residents and staff gained valuable knowledge including the role of the Sheriff and how he serves our local community. We so appreciate that these two individuals made a special visit and took time to sit with residents answering questions they had and listening to their stories.

How lucky are we to be presented with pins replicating the Plymouth County crest to commemorate our visit!

Thank you again to Sheriff McDonald and Officer O’Connell for coming to see us!
