Our Story

If you ask Dr. Kirlough and Dr. Ferrini why they became dentists, they will give you different answers, but one thing they both agree on is their goal to meet patients’ dental needs.

Dr. Ferrini founded the current practice more than 40 years ago. For him, dentistry is a calling that allows him to help people every day and work with his hands. He graduated with a degree in biology from Baldwin-Wallace College, and he received his dental training from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He continued his training in in ortho-gnathological occlusion and oral rehabilitation to understand jaw function and relieve head and facial pain.

Dr. Kirlough didn’t exactly have a calling to dentistry. In fact, he didn’t like his childhood dentist, but his brother was in dental school and convinced him to try it. More than 20 years later, he’s glad he did!

Dr. Kirlough attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Fellowship at the Naval Dental Center on Parris Island and was a dental officer in the Navy for 3 years, earning a Meritorious Unit Commendation and a Navy Achievement Medal. He resigned his commission in 2006 as a Lieutenant Commander.
