✨️2020✨️

C3 Lifestyle was birthed out of pain & the pandemic through vision & God's purpose.

➡️Back story:

I just had my 2nd baby and was learning how to navigate solo parenting a newborn and a toddler.

Thank God for my mom & my aunt.

Out of feeling the lowest I've ever felt in my entire life AND starting from scratch...

I decided to go back to school to try to show outwardly- I still had purpose.

I would do SOMETHING while I was rebuilding my life and myself : Physically. Mentally. Emotionally. Spiritually.

✨️I took anatomy prerequisites for the millionth time with a 4 month old and a 3 year old.

And soon was accepted into the Physical Therapist Assistant Program!

Whew. I had some sort of direction and purpose again.

✨️Little did I know, God had other plans.

After 2 semesters in the program, Covid hit.

My babies needed me more.

And I was facing a crossroads of clinicals (full time work with no pay), my values being challenged, and 2 babies who needed a present .

‼️So I dropped out ‼️

What the program made me realize was that I knew A LOT more about the body than I gave myself credit for.

I absorbed what I learned in the program.

And got directed through prayer & quiet time to put all that time and effort into rebuilding my business.

With a specialty in mentored by 💙

I wanted to teach women to love & learn their bodies.

I wanted them to see themselves how beautifully they're created regardless of size.

That each woman holds such deep strength especially mothers who create, birth , & sustain life yet feel the most doubtful of themselves.

Of the strength they have in them!

✨️Helping women to break through societies structures and beliefs so they can take care of themselves and those they love from a healthier space will always be a main focus of .connection.confidence

It's the foundation C3 Lifestyle was founded on.

✨️AND over the course of 6 years, we have expanded our services to specialize with chronic pain clients, post stroke/neuro rehab clients, post injury & other specialties, without being insurance restrictions.

This real by is one of THE most important things all humans should know about their body!

✨️I've followed these guidelines for 2 hamstring pulls and noticed quicker rehab and maximized healing.

You still need to be mindful with the movement but!

✨ Part 3 with Rob: Rebuilding the Step Up ✨

This isn’t just a step.
It’s a reclaiming.

What looks simple is actually one of the most demanding movements in stroke recovery.

The step-up challenges everything at once:

🧠 motor planning
🦵 single-leg strength
⚖️ balance + stability
➡️ weight transfer onto the affected side
🔄 controlled push + eccentric lowering

For Rob, this means trusting a leg that hasn’t always felt reliable…

Loading it. Stabilizing it. Pushing through it.

That moment where his foot plants and his body rises?

That’s coordination, courage, and countless reps coming together.

Step-ups are more than an exercise, they’re preparation for real life:

➡️ stairs, curbs, uphill walking, stepping over an obstacle.

There’s hesitation. There’s focus. There are small adjustments that you might miss.

Because recovery lives in those small moments where the brain and body are learning to speak the same language again.

Every rep here is:

• strength being rebuilt
• confidence being restored
• independence getting closer

Not perfect. Not easy. But powerful.

We laugh. We cry. Rob keeps working hard.

Drop a ❤️ to support the work Rob puts in daily. Because this is what progress really looks like. 👣❤️‍🩹
