To our friends who are registered voters in the Town of Orwell:
We encourage you to please visit the National Bank of Orwell this week to sign town funding petitions for Addison County Home Health and Hospice, the Counseling Service of Addison County, and other county non-profits you would like to support.
To be included on the town meeting day roster, the Town of Orwell annually requires that non-profits seeking town funding submit a petition signed by 5% of the town's registered voters; this indicates that voters would like the opportunity to vote on the funding request in March. Without the required number of signatures, town funding requests from non-profits cannot be voted on at Town Meeting.
Thanks for your help in supporting our community. We greatly appreciate your help!
