Meet Jamie!
I’m a multidisciplinary artist currently apprenticing as a tattoo artist at Aesthetic Antidote, where creativity, precision, and purpose come together. I studied fine art and theatre, and my path has taken me through many hands on disciplines including metal fabrication, contracting, photography, and design, all of which shaped my respect for craftsmanship and attention to the smallest details.
I’m a metal fabrication specialist, a motorcyclist, and someone who has always worked with my hands. My art exists across a wide spectrum from darker, expressive horror inspired work to the softness and intention of medical and aesthetic tattooing. Tattooing felt like a natural evolution for me, a place where technical skill meets artistry, empathy, and human connection. I specialize in fine line work, believing subtlety and intention make all the difference.
Everything truly clicked for me the moment I witnessed the emotional impact of watching an ar**la be created through tattooing. Seeing the woman’s reaction, the emotion, healing, and transformation and watching ink enter skin confirmed without hesitation that I was on the right path. That experience clarified my desire for a career that is not only creatively fulfilling, but deeply meaningful and rooted in helping others.
Tattooing allows me to bring together my artistic background and my empathy, honoring both shadow and light, and opening new horizons for myself and the people who trust me with their stories. I’m currently welcoming models at apprentice rates and would be honored to create something thoughtful, beautiful, and personal for you in a calm, professional environment.
