Meigs County Veterans Service Office assist veterans and their families in many ways, including:

Answering questions, advising, and educating individuals and groups on what benefits are available from federal, state, county, and local resources. VSO's are trained and accredited by the VA or other recognized organizations to provide assistance to veterans, their dependents, and survivors. This includes not only applying for federal and state benefits but also providing information on resources related to the following:

Compensation and Pension
Health Care
Education & Training
Employment
Burial & Survivor
Housing
Transportation
Military Records

If you didn’t make it to the Meigs County Fairgrounds yesterday to sign up for your free ham and turkey , not a problem you can still come down to our office this week and still sign up.

Sign up this week October 8-11, we're here every day this week from 8-4 to sign up for your free ham and turkey.

(Must be a Meigs County Resident and have proof of your military service DD214, or veterans ID card)
