Due to the winter weather we are expecting, please be advised of the following operating procedures:

• If Meigs County is under a Level 2 Snow Emergency, the Meigs County Veterans Service Office will operate on a 2-hour delay.
• If Meigs County is under a Level 3 Snow Emergency, the office will be closed.

Even if the office is delayed or closed, you may still call and leave a voicemail. Messages will be checked and returned as soon as possible.

Thank you to the wonderful volunteers at the Mason Walmart and our volunteers for providing and serving our veterans a delicious lunch today! It was very much enjoyed and appreciated!!

Just a reminder that our Veteran Appreciation Lunch is happening TODAY from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM at the Meigs County Veterans Service Office, 115 E. Memorial Drive, Pomeroy.

🍲 Lunch is generously provided by the Mason, WV Walmart and their amazing volunteer employees and includes soups, chilis, beans & cornbread, sandwiches, desserts, coffee, water, and tea.

🌧️ Weather update:
The lunch is STILL ON despite the weather. Please travel safely, and if you’re able, we would love to see you stop by for a warm meal and fellowship.

This is a reminder that ham vouchers must be picked up this week, and **hams must be redeemed at Save-A-Lot by ** by 🕓 4:00 PM on Friday, December 19th.

If you signed up and received a voucher, please be sure to:
✅ Pick up your ham voucher this week
✅ Take your voucher to Save-A-Lot and pick up your ham no later than 4 PM on Friday, December 19th
