Christmas Spirit Week Wrap-up: A Successful Conclusion with Friends of God Ministry, Pajama Day, Movie Night, Special Breakfast, Crazy Socks, Egg Nog with Shrivers, Carleton School, Christmas Parade, Grinch, Meigs 3-5 Student Council, and Pastor Matthew Dye and the meaning of Christmas Service with Pastor John Frank and Peggy Gibbs. Next week promises to be just as exciting.

Our Resident Holiday Dinner was filled with smiles, hugs, and the joy of being together. We are so thankful to celebrate these cherished moments with our residents and their families this Christmas season.

We are so thankful for the staff who worked together to make that night so special for our residents and their families!

Today, Overbrook Center received a visit from a team of Mason Walmart associates who came to spread holiday cheer through caroling and gift-giving. Our residents were deeply grateful and many joined in the singing from their doorways. We appreciate Walmart's thoughtful gesture.

This is a testament to the Christmas Spirit. Nova, is a Racine resident that moved here from Florida. As a young girl in Florida, she would always make homemade cards for a local nursing home in Florida. Miss Nova brought that tradition with her to Meigs County. She has spent the past month and a half, after her busy days as an employee of the Meigs County Treasurers Office, drawing, coloring, and leaving special Christmas messages inside these heartfelt, homemade cards. Nova created over over 80 homemade cards for the residents here at Overbrook by herself. Thank you Nova, for the wonderful dedication to our residents.

Embracing the magic of the Christmas season with Coffee, Cocoa, Crafts and Carolers. Residents delight in the annual tradition of crafting ornaments and decorating the resident tree. We express our gratitude to Meigs County Cub Scout Pack #777 for their assistance in beautifying some of our Christmas trees.
