The New Year often feels like stepping into unknown terrain. We long for a floodlight that shows the entire road, but God gives us a lamp—just enough light for the next step. This is an invitation to trust daily guidance rather than demand full clarity. For those in caregiving and leadership, this means leaning on Scripture and prayer as our steady light, even when the path ahead feels dim.

Prayer:
Lord, guide my steps today. Let Your Word illuminate my decisions and calm my fears. Teach me to walk by faith, not by sight. Amen.

Practice:
Choose one verse that speaks hope or direction for you this year. Write it down and keep it where you’ll see it often—on your desk, in your planner, or on your phone lock screen.
