🦋Join us for our March event at The Bell Theater in Pineville, KY, 114 Kentucky Ave, Pineville, KY 40977! We will meet from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Dinner will be provided, and be ready to jump on the big stage and sing your heart out.🦋

This event is open to females in the tri-state area (KY, TN, & VA) from 8th grade through freshman year of college. There is no cost to attend.

We had the best time at our February event 💕

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the night so special. Thank you to Whitley Gatliff at ARH for providing the self-care kits and sharing an encouraging mental health talk. Thank you to Betty Cochran for the Color Street nail kits, FIA Claiborne for volunteering their time, IAL Middlesboro for the fun mystery date books, and Dr. Maxwell for the beautiful flowers.

The most meaningful part of the evening, though, was taking time to reminisce about our sweet Buffy Dunnaville and the special memories we shared with her. We know she would be so incredibly proud of these girls 💕

Yesterday, Girls Supporting Girls said “see you later” to one of our beloved co-founders, Buffy Dunnaville.

Buffy leaves behind a beautiful legacy and was the true definition of a positive mentor, a faithful encourager, and a loving friend. She inspired everyone she met, and our community will shine a little dimmer without her presence.

The work of Girls Supporting Girls will continue; just as she would have wanted. I would have never taken the leap of faith to start this organization without her belief, support, and encouragement. In her honor, we will keep mentoring young girls in our community, lifting them up, and reminding them each day that they are enough and worthy of all good things.

To celebrate her life and the impact she made, our organization will be establishing a scholarship in her memory so her legacy of encouragement and empowerment will live on for years to come.

Until we meet again, our sweet friend. You are loved beyond words and will be missed tremendously.

We were honored to present at this month’s Bell County Chamber of Commerce Lunch and share the mission of Girls Supporting Girls with our community. We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity and for the generous donation made to our organization. It truly takes a village, and we must say, we are blessed with an amazing one right here in our community.
