In our Memory Care Unit, Sandlewood residents enjoyed a fun-filled week celebrating with a tasty treat. They also got creative with Valentine's arts and crafts and showed off their puzzle solving skills. It's so great to see them engaged and active.

We had such a special Valentine's Day, it calls for another post! Our residents enjoyed a festive gathering featuring delightful treats. We were especially pleased to capture wonderful moments including couples/family members celebrating together.

It was a heartwarming day filled with joy and connection, fostering a truly positive atmosphere for all to enjoy.

Love was in the air at Village Point!

Residents and team members shared a delightful Valentine's Day filled with laughter, photo fun, and, social interaction. And - of course - red velvet cake with assorted refreshments. It was a wonderful celebration of joy and LOVE!

We were touched by a lovely surprise visit from Dove Hospice, who brought sweet Valentine's treats to brighten up our day. Such a thoughtful gesture brought smiles to all of our team members' faces. Thank you, Janine and Carrie - we're grateful for your kindness!

We are so grateful to Lesley and her associate from Senior Helpers Homecare for providing a wonderful, interactive cookie decorating activity for our residents. It was a joyful, engaging experience, and a delicious time was had by all.

⭐ Heart, Hustle, and Home Care: Meet Vileesha Alford ⭐

Please join us in recognizing Vileesha Alford, Intake Scheduling Coordinator Specialist with Springpoint at Home! Vileesha is admired for her approachable nature and the meaningful relationships she fosters with residents, families, and colleagues throughout Monroe Village and Village Point Rehabilitation & Healthcare. From managing urgent discharges to navigating unexpected scheduling needs, she approaches each situation with steady professionalism and a genuine commitment to helping others. She brings a true “we’ve got this” spirit to every situation.

One of her most memorable moments was coordinating a seamless return home for an Independent Living client after a short rehab stay. When last-minute transportation challenges arose, she quickly arranged a caregiver and made sure everything was ready for a smooth, comfortable transition. The client’s heartfelt hug and smile of thanks was a perfect reminder of why she loves her work.

Vileesha’s also deepened her connection with residents through a part-time kitchen server role with Morrison Living, creating even more opportunities to engage with those she supports. Her reliability, compassion, and dedication make a meaningful difference each and every day.
