A new chapter shouldn't feel like a closed door. 🌿✨

We know the weight that comes with a move to a new facility. The logistics are one thing, but the emotional transition for both the family and the resident is what truly matters.

At The Gardens, we don’t just "admit" residents; we welcome them home. Our "First 48 Hours" protocol is designed to eliminate the "new kid" feeling immediately.

By surrounding our new neighbors with their own cherished photos, a dedicated nursing team who knows their name by hour one, and a social activity tailored to their interests, we bridge the gap between "facility" and "family."

Do you know a family navigating a transition this month? Share this post with them to show what a "Soft Landing" looks like. 🕊️📦

Our residents absolutely love Penny Pitch! This fun and engaging activity combines friendly competition with skill, as participants earn points by tossing pennies toward designated targets on the floor. 🪙

It’s always a lively crowd favorite that brings energy, laughter, and a sense of camaraderie to our programs. ✨

🎉🍫 Congratulations to our “Guess How Many Chocolate Kisses” winners! 🍫🎉

Our resident winner, Barbara, came so close with a guess of 81!

And a big shoutout to our staff winner, Bri (our dietician), who guessed 82 - the exact number! 👏

Barbara took home an Olive Garden gift card, and Bri won a Wawa gift card! 🏆

Thanks to everyone who participated - it was a sweet time for all! 💕

At The Gardens, we believe that the journey to wellness is deeply personal.

Whether you are joining us for intensive post-surgical rehab or seeking a long-term home for a loved one, our mission remains the same: providing a space where healing feels natural.

Today, we’re celebrating the small, daily victories that lead to a healthier life… the extra steps taken in our rehab gym, the shared laughter during an afternoon activity, and the quiet moments of reflection in our garden.

Expert medical care provides the foundation, but it’s the warmth of our community and the fresh air of our country setting that truly allow our residents to thrive.

How are you prioritizing your well-being today?

As we say goodbye to March, we wanted to take a moment to share some of the kind words we’ve received from our residents and their loved ones.

At The Gardens, we take our responsibility to the Monroe community seriously, and hearing that our team made a difference in your recovery or long-term care means the world to us.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their experience this month. We are proud to be your choice for care.

What’s better than an afternoon making pasta? 🍝💛

Our residents rolled, shaped, and sprinkled their way to perfection.

There’s something truly special about coming together to create (and taste!) something delicious.

Tell us! What’s your favorite pasta?

Being on Applegarth Road means we are surrounded by the legacy of the Garden State - dating back to the town’s founding in 1838.

Monroe Township was originally part of a town called South Amboy. In the seal of our town is the outline of the shape of Monroe on a map. In the middle, is a tree known as the Monroe Oak and is the symbol of the town.

The tree dates back to the when the first settlers came to Monroe, making the tree over 300 years old!

The Monroe Oak is also located on Applegarth Road.

We love taking our residents on "Scenic Van Tours" to see the local blooms at the nearby farms.

What’s your favorite historic spot in Monroe?
