It’s - so we’re sharing some advice we’d never give our patients… and then flipping it to what’s actually true.

A few evidence-based reminders we stand by:

• Daily SPF is non-negotiable. UV exposure accelerates collagen breakdown, pigment changes, and premature aging.
• More exfoliation is not better. Over-exfoliation can compromise the skin barrier and trigger inflammation, sensitivity, and persistent irritation.
• When it comes to facial surgery, education comes first. The best first step is a consultation focused on options, expectations, and a personalized plan — never pressure.

One of the biggest misconceptions about dermal fillers is that they’re always about adding volume.
