This study, Utilization of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Clinical Practice Guidelines in Physical Therapy, is exploring the reach and use of selected clinical practice guidelines. PTs and PTAs who work with patients who have primary cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions are eligible to participate in this 10-20 minute survey that may inform future CPGs and dissemination processes. Your participation may inform future CPGs and implementation strategies.

The Annual Mobility Assessment Implementation Grant Application is now open! The purpose of these grants are to help fund outreach programs using the Annual Mobility Assessment (AMA). The funds can help defray some of the administrative costs of conducting the AMA such as copying expenses, renting space, advertising, or staffing the event. Four, $500 grants are available.

Don’t forget to attend the APTA Geriatrics webinar tomorrow at 8:00pm EST to learn about cognitive changes in aging and practical strategies for assessment and intervention.

Dr. Rashelle Hoffman will explore common age-related cognitive changes, select and interpret relevant tests and measures, and apply evidence-informed interventions across diverse clinical settings. Real-world case scenarios will also be shared to help illustrate how to support aging adults and their care partners, with a focus on enhancing function, participation, and access to resources.
