We always taste test our way through class and see what the ingredients taste like on their own before they all get mixed together.

An important lesson that cooking teaches us

…patience.

I love showing little ones how individual ingredients come together to make a meal, side dish or dessert.

In the world we live in today, patience is such an important skill that I think we could all benefit from practicing. Teaching children how to cook is an excellent way to help them develop this patience while also learning a vital life skill. Win win! 🙌
