📣Protect Yourself from the Flu: Get Vaccinated early this Season
💦Winter 23-24 in Delaware is going to be extremely hard especially with Covid19 virus
The flu vaccine is essential for everyone 6 months of age and older, especially those at increased risk of severe flu complications. While different vaccines are approved for various age groups, the most crucial aspect is getting vaccinated annually.
👌Recommended Flu Vaccines:
✅Children 6 months and older: Several flu shots are available for individuals 6 months of age and older.
✅Adults 65 years and older: Three flu vaccines are preferentially recommended for adults 65 years and older. If these vaccines are unavailable, any age-appropriate flu vaccine can be substituted.
✅Pregnant women: Flu shots are strongly recommended for pregnant women.
✅Individuals with chronic health conditions: highly recommended.
Nasal spray flu vaccine: This vaccine is approved for use in people 2 years through 49 years of age, with some exceptions.

✅Under 65 years: CDC does not have a preferred flu vaccine recommendation for individuals under 65 years of age.
