Hello All,
If you have ever been curious, confused, broken and humiliated about the subtle influence of internalized racism and how to recognize it in self, others and in the air we actually breathe; THIS is the book to read to offer clarity to these nuances. I am honored and very proud to be a contributor in Dr. Kenneth Hardy’s life work! Purchase your copy right away or reserve your copy. This is a book that will be eye opening and timeless.

"This is a revelatory and essential new work, clear-eyed and instructive, yet also deeply personal and eloquent. Oh, that it may be required reading for anyone in human services!" —Robin DiAngelo, PhD, author of WHITE FRAGILITY and NICE RACISM

NEW from Dr. Kenneth Hardy (Eikenberg Academy for Social Justice), THE ENDURING, INVISIBLE, AND UBIQUITOUS CENTRALITY OF WHITENESS (WWNorton.com/rd/EIUCW), in stores May 17th, is NOW AVAILABLE directly from W. W. Norton. This collection of writings from a diverse range of contributors, including Dr. Cynthia Chestnut, Christiana Ibilola Awosan (Ibisanmi Relational Health), Robin Schlenger, LCSW, Alana Tappin (Heart of the Matter Psychological Services), Bonnie Berman Cushing (Center for Racial Justice in Education), Lane Arye (Process Work Institute), Jen Leland (Trauma Transformed), Carlin Quinn (Education For Racial Equity), Gene E. Cash Jr. (Counseling Alliance of Virginia - CAVA Richmond) and more, addresses how systemic racism affects the practice of therapy, and how clinicians can combat these issues for better client relationships and a more racially just world.

Note for Democracy - Values

We teach our children to be fair, do unto to others as you want done unto you AKA golden rule and we value “do the right thing.” Now we wonder what’s happening in our political culture today when we listen to media, politicians argue about autocracy vs plutocracy when we live in a democracy. The weapon in this argument is manipulation. To overthrow these values is to not only self manipulate but to practice and declare the manipulation to the mass. The sad part is how many in the mass bought it. We all want wealth, we live in a classism society and we manipulate the values we teach our children politically and our thoughts, emotions and behaviors make compromises with plutocracy, autocracy with grave fornication with democracy. Now our children are symptomatically changing the platform saying Bernie Saunders speak about the change that’s needed while many others say the Democrats will lose the election because he’s a socialist on historical communism standards. Young people are saying that’s not the definition of modern socialism today which means we become truly embraced by democracy and give a fair chance for all to achieve the American dream and stop the manipulation of plutocracy and autocracy out of fear. Be brave and stand up for fairness by any and every means necessary.

Let’s be clear, I’m not saying Bernie Saunders is the right candidate to lead this country I’m saying we have got to hold our elected officials accountable to stand for the values we behold, cherish, teach our children and believe. Whomever we chose we must push them to be fair and stand for justice at all cost.
