Looking to make a difference?
We’ve got an opportunity for you to help a Gilead client in our upcoming Move for Every 1 Road Race.

Last year, more than 50 clients came out to walk – surrounded by 300+ staff, family and friends and community members. By sponsoring a client or sponsoring a program, you can directly make an impact!

Sponsoring a client helps provide a client with:
🏁Registration
👕a Who Will You Move For t-shirt
👟a new pair of sneakers
🏅participation incentives

Sponsoring a program provides all that for an entire program!

Participating in this day alongside friends, family, and community members means so much to the individuals we serve. Don't just take our word for it!

We are looking for 50 client sponsorships and 13 program sponsors.
Can we count you in?

Visit https://gileadcs.org/news-events/road-race/ to learn sponsorship opportunities. And don't forget that the Move For Every 1 Road Race is on Sunday, April 12!

We are extremely excited and pleased to announce that we have officially received word from CARF International that we have been awarded a full 3-year accreditation!

Thank you to all clinical staff and to our Quality Assurance team for preparing diligently for this accreditation. A special shout out to Gilead’s director of Quality Assurance, Rob Snyder, for going above and beyond to prepare the agency for this process.

CARF accreditation is official recognition that Gilead is guided by internationally recognized standards and best practices. This accreditation demonstrates that our organization values the input of our clients and is accountable to the community. It is truly a testament to the hard work, dedication, attention to detail, and compassion that Gilead staff bring to their work every day.

Love is in the air at the Middletown Social Rehabilitation Center (aka the Social Club)! Club members made love jars, filled them with positive thoughts, and either kept them or gave them to a friend.

Fillings included positive affirmations like:
❤️ I choose to be kind
❤️ I strive to improve myself
❤️ I learn from my mistakes

We can all learn a lesson from such an exercise!

Howdy good Gils and boys! It's me! Gil! Having a holly jolly time with some new friends! The Middletown Social Rehabilitation Center invited everyone from Gilead to experience holiday cheer - including visits from some very special friends. I'm not the only furry friend here at Gilead, but at least I'm not mean and green!

My Gil-friends and I shared a delicious holiday meal. It wasn't pizza or ziti, but a new and exciting third thing. We also opened the presents that our Gilead friends in the community generously donated.

To everyone who donated a pair of socks, or a hat, or a gift card, or craft supplies - you made all of us here so very happy. Thank you for spreading some magic.
