Thursday April 16, from 930 am until approximately 1230 noon, our funeral home had the opportunity to participate in a Mock Crash at Edgewood High School, reminding students that drinking and driver, either at prom or during the school year is dangerous. This powerful exercise is designed to give students a real-world look at the serious consequences of distracted and impaired driving.
While the scene may have appeared dramatic, the message behind it is very real. Every year, lives are changed in an instant due to preventable decisions made behind the wheel. By bringing this demonstration to students, we hope to leave a lasting impression that encourages them to make safe, responsible choices—especially as prom and graduation season approach.
We want to thank Edgewood High School, Butler County Sheriff's Office , St. Clair Township Fire Department, Trenton Fire Department, St. Clair Twp-New Miami EMS, Med Flight 8, and all the volunteers who helped make this event possible. Working together, we can help protect our community and save lives.
We are proud of staff Brooklyn Potter and Larry McLure that stepped up to participate with our local first responders and school systems to provide our local students with an opportunity to see the impact of a bad decision can have on one's life, family and community. Remember: one decision can change everything. Stay focused, drive sober, and always look out for one another.
