🦃 This Thanksgiving, we’re grateful for our community, our traditions — and the spirit that brings us together. 🚒

As families gather to celebrate, we’re already counting down to another great tradition here in the City of Middletown — our Tri-Annual Firefighter’s Parade, returning on October 10, 2026 to celebrate 167 years of service to our city.

The same pride, gratitude, and unity we feel around the Thanksgiving table is the same spirit that fills our streets on parade day. From generations past to present-day heroes, Middletown stands strong together.

Today Washington Heights Fire Department had a demo on the Jaws of Life from Garrison Fire Equipment. We had the pleasure of using the Holmatro tools for this drill. Thanks to all who participated!

Tomorrow, Sunday March 22nd, the Easter Bunny will be making his way through the Heights starting at 11am! Keep an eye out! 🐰🚒

Washington Heights Fire Department is having an Easter Bunny Run around the district on Sunday March 22nd starting at 11 am! Look out through the district for him on our fire trucks. If u have a special stop, let us know! Looking forward to seeing everyone! 🐇🐥🚒🥚
