A win for our families is a win for Abilities First! Our Pediatric Therapies team has been able to acquire more than 15 AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices like the one pictured here to assist children with communicating! While these tools take some time to acquire and set up, they are powerful in that they help give voices to our children. They can even be customized to meet each child’s needs and interests, helping communicate with family, friends, teachers, and therapists!

Our little food pantry has filled up so fast! Thank you so much to anyone and everyone who has donated. Our families are able to grab needed items each day as they enter and exit the building and it means so much to have this kind of support in our community!

We understand many families in our community may struggle to put food on the table with SNAP benefit delays beginning November 1. Abilities First is holding a Food Drive at our facility located in the heart of Middletown. If you would like to assist others in need, please feel free to bring shelf-stable foods to 4710 Timber Trail Drive, Middletown, Ohio 45044. We also have a blessing box located directly in front of our building for anyone who would like to donate after hours.
