We were excited to welcome our preschool students as they visited the Medical Assisting program for a special collaborative learning experience!

This unique opportunity allows students of all ages to engage, learn, and grow together. Our medical assisting students guided hands-on, age-appropriate activities that introduce basic health concepts, promoted kindness and care, and encouraged curiosity.

Through this partnership, preschool students gain early exposure to healthcare in a fun and supportive environment, while our medical assisting students strengthen their communication, leadership, and caregiving skills.

This collaboration highlights the importance of learning across age groups and building a strong, connected community where everyone benefits. This was a meaningful and memorable experience for all!

We are THRILLED to announce that our partnership with Nemours Children's Health has been recognized as a Superstar in Education!

The Workforce Pipeline Development Program is a partnership between Nemours Children’s Health and NCCVT. The program creates work-based learning opportunities in pediatrics for students pursuing nursing technology, medical assisting, surgical technology, dental assistant, and emergency medical services, allowing them to apply classroom learning in real clinical settings while exploring potential health care careers. Since its launch, the program has expanded to all four NCCVT high schools, with plans to add HVAC, plumbing, and physical therapy pathways in 2026-27, strengthening Delaware’s future healthcare and skilled trades workforce.

Our junior MA students hosted a school wide blood drive yesterday. We collected 39 units of whole blood and 12 double red, impressive numbers! Thank you to all of the staff and students from St. Georges Technical High School your donation will help save a life! 💚💙💚💙

Due to freezing temperatures and potentially hazardous road conditions, all NCCVT schools and offices will open two hours late on Monday, December 15. This will allow everyone to travel in daylight. Please be safe in your travels.
