We are a behavioral & mental health wellness practice centered around balanced living in an unbalanced world. We assure you your children are not misbehaving purely in an attempt to drive you crazy! But we do understand it may feel that way at times. At Children in Balance we believe that all children want to do well but may not have the skills necessary to do so. Some simply lack the impulse control to use skills they already possess. By learning specialized parenting skills tailored to your child's specific behavior presentation and effective behavior management techniques you can put a stop to the endless power struggles exhausting you from day to day. It can be challenging in today's modern world to balance the stress and often overwhelming responsibility of daily life,finances, work & career, family roles, friends and leisure activities, and let's not forget single parents and dual earner families raising children and a downtrodden economy to top of it all off! When stress is high and coping resources and natural supports are low individuals are left vulnerable to numerous mental health issues including; anxiety, depression, alcohol & substance abuse, and other significant health concerns. Let the professionals at our practice guide and support you back to healthier ways of coping and overcoming life's challenges. At Children in Balance we partner WITH you-The Parent, Guardian, Caregiver, or Individual to identify YOUR individual and or family's needs. Dear valued Client,

I am writing to share an important update. It is with deep appreciation, gratitude, and heartfelt reflection that we say farewell after more than 13 years of dedicated service to individuals and families in our community.

Children In Balance Psychological Associates will be closing as of November 2025. As we move toward this transition, we remain committed to supporting our active clients to ensure continuity of care. However, please note that we are no longer accepting new referrals.

It has been an honor to walk alongside so many of you—supporting your growth, helping navigate challenges, and celebrating progress. On behalf of our entire team, I want to express how humbled we are to have been part of your journey.

Over the years, our clinicians have had the privilege of serving nearly 1,700 individuals and families. The impact of this work has been profound, and I will always regard it as one of the most meaningful aspects of my career and connection to this community.

If you wish to continue care beyond our closing date, we are committed to supporting a smooth transition. Please speak with your clinician about your ongoing needs and options. To further assist you, we have enclosed a list of resources for pursuing continued counseling services for yourself or your child. Should you have any questions regarding your records or future care, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.

Thank you for placing your trust in us. It has truly been both an honor and a joy to support you and your family. We wish you continued success and well-being on your personal journey.
