Good Evening! It's great that we are experiencing such nice weather lately. Just keep in mind that prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and heat may be dangerous, especially for the elderly and children ... Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke are both potentially life threatening if not attend to immediately. Symptoms can be any one or combination of the following.
*Heat Exhaustion Symptoms: Muscle Cramping; Nausea; Headaches; Fatigue; Dizziness; Excessive Sweating accompanied by cold and clammy skin; Increased Agitation and / or a Slowed, Weak Heart Beat.
*Heat Stroke Symptoms: Headaches; Muscle Cramping; Increased Body Temperature; Decreased Sweating accompanied with DRY, Flushed Skin; Delirium; Confusion, and possible Convulsions.
**If you or anyone you know are experiencing any or multiple heat - related symptoms mentioned above, Seek Medical Attention. Immediately move inside, or to a shady area in order to avoid direct sunlight and heat (An air conditioned room would be ideal); Consume fluids, preferably water if available and place covered ice packs in the groin area, behind the neck and or under the arms (Armpits).
