Here are a few simple travel tips to keep your body healthy while driving or flying:
• Support your spine. Use lumbar support in the car or on the plane to maintain the natural curve of your lower back.
• Mind your posture. Keep your head centered over your shoulders—avoid slouching or leaning forward for long periods.
• Move often. Stop every 60–90 minutes when driving, and stand, stretch, or walk the aisle when flying.
• Stay hydrated. Dehydration can increase muscle tightness and joint discomfort, especially when flying.
• Lift luggage carefully. Bend at the knees, not the waist, and avoid twisting when lifting bags.
